What a month October was! It was one filled with lots of events and family time. We are now in the last few months of the year, and I am determined to make the most of these days before entering the new year. Here are some things I enjoyed during the month of October.
- I never knew that I needed a cowboy hat in my life, but wow, I am obsessed! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Laurent Ranch, a boutique in New Canaan, CT that sells western-style luxury goods. From fabulous furs to leathers, cool denim pieces, to cowboy hats, you can customize. I also attended a wonderful event with them that was so much fun (see recap here).
- The book I read during the month is Iron Flame by Rebecca Yaros. All I have to say is that I am hooked on this series, and that is coming from someone who was never into fantasy. I am hoping to read the third book before the end of the year… fingers crossed.
- As a makeup lover, I am always so thrilled when I try new products and love them. I have shared a few Jones Road products before, and I will tell you the Just Enough Tinted Moisturizer is amazing. Beautiful hydrating formula that actually has good pigment, helping to neutralize redness and even out complexion.
- I have been back on a juicing frenzy recently. I have been making the most delicious juice from oranges, pineapple, turmeric, and ginger.
- I did a lot of baking in October as well. I made Chocolate Chip Banana Bread a few times, Apple Blondies (I used to make all the time for my family), my favorite Potato Leek Soup, a Pineapple Cake, and this addictive and simple Cookies and Cream Pretzel snack.
- It is officially boot season! One pair that I wore a lot was these kitten heel black boots. They easily elevated each look.
- These vegan leather pants were my go-to for recent events and nights out.
