Skincare is always important no matter your age. Now more than ever I have been paying attention to the needs of my skin as the season changes and wearing the masks continues. Skincare is an investment, but it is a necessary one to maintain a clear complexion and soft supple skin. Sephora is currently running a sale so I wanted to share with you a few of the skincare favorites that I use more consistently now that the weather is changing.
These last couple of months have allowed me to let my curls come out to play. I decided to take this time to limit heat usage on my hair and focus on finding the best conditioning and curl holding products.
Skincare is considered one of the most important steps for not only achieving flawless skin but for creating the perfect canvas for makeup. I interviewed my sister-in-law, Bella, on her favorite skincare products and how she maintains her glowy skin.
I am so grateful that this winter has not been as bitterly cold as it was last year. When I think about it, I don’t even know how I survived those single digit days last year. No matter the temperature, winter is still winter with the dry air and the even dryer skin.
Do you ever have those days when you want your makeup to be a little bit more glamorous than your everyday look? What if I told you that I am no makeup artist but I found a really easy way to do a subtle smokey eye… would you be on board to try?
I first want to start off by saying this is the best $25 I’ve spent on a skincare product. As much as I enjoy face masks, I always end up forgetting to be consistent with them. I am particularly impressed by this mask for its hydrating capabilities. Needless to say, this will be my holy grail product as we enter the cold season.
Although winter is ending and spring will soon be in sight, I can finally say that I have cultivated a good amount of skincare products that I have been loving and using religiously throughout the past winter months.
Absence truly makes the heart grow fonder. Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t posted on my blog in a month, and in blogging time, that is a really long. It wasn’t that I wanted to stop posting content, it was because I had too. I am in my senior year of college and I felt that I had to back off of blogging for a while until I was able to get settled and adjust to my crazy class schedule. Well needless to say since school started, I haven’t been able to settle, I am constantly busy (not to mention tired, stress, etc.) and I felt that I didn’t have the time to dedicate to my blog. With that said, I am excited to be writing this post! 🙂 I also hope that this post will help me get the ball rolling again.
Over the past year I have been consistently doing my makeup the same, maybe with some glam here or there. What I love about having a makeup routine is that when I am in a pinch for time, I already know what I am doing and all the products that I need is in one place.
