When July comes around, I have two happy sentiments because summer is in full swing, and there is no better feeling than basking in the warm sun, preferably with an iced coffee and a good book. Last month, I enjoyed a few sunny days on the lake, dinner with friends, and ended with sunset yoga.
Not a huge list for July, but here’s what I have enjoyed:
- I was compelled to try this blush after seeing people compare the shades to some of the Rhode blushes, and it’s under $10. I purchased it in the shade Muted Mauve, which I think is a universally flattering color. It blends out easily and is buildable.
- What would you do if, one day, you were exploring Scotland and, in the next instant, were transported back to the 1700s? That is what happens to Claire Randall in the show Outlander. This was a recommendation by a friend that has my husband and me hooked.
- I read two of the most talked-about books this summer: Five-Star Weekend and The Deal. I loved both and can recommend them as light summer reads. I have not watched the adaptation of Five-Star Weekend yet but look forward to it, and I have watched the Off-Campus show 2x already. I guess you can say I am a fan!
- My most worn shoe for the month had to be these silver mesh flats! Very comfortable while adding dimension to each look.
- I purchased this lipstick months ago, and only recently started using it! It is perfect for evening events as it has a beautiful shimmer. I have the shade Fenty Glow, and my other favorite is Fussy, described as a shimmering dusty pink.
