It is officially December which means Christmas is only four weeks away! Although the day is wonderful and the presents are great, I love the anticipation of Christmas. The baking, the friends and family gatherings, holiday parties, and most importantly the OUTFITS. It is the best time of the year to have fun and be playful with your looks. I am kicking off a new mini-outfit series for holiday outfit inspiration with the first one being on sequins.
Every year, sequins make a debut in my holiday looks. They are so fun to wear and eye-catching. I have what I call “my party pants” which are a pair of Banana Republic sequin pants that I now bring out specifically for the holidays. You only need one or two items in your closet that you can keep on rotation every year. I have styled three different sequin outfits that will make great additions to your holiday look.
This look is fun and playful! I love the color of the bronze sequins of the dress which is perfect for going out at night with friends to get holiday drinks or a holiday party with family. Complete this look with platform heels, a little black clutch, and a sexy fragrance like the YSL Libre, my favorite. Each of the items listed is under $100 as well!

With this outfit is it a pink girl holiday! For this outfit, I wanted to show that it is okay to go outside the traditional holiday colors and even play with more textures. This skirt is incredibly beautiful so I suggest pairing it with a simple off-the-shoulder cream sweater. You can even play with texture such as adding the feather kitten heel slingbacks. Finish this look with gold accessories and feel like a lady with a spritz of Coco Mademoiselle.

For this last look, I had to include a two-piece set. Out of the three looks, this is the most versatile. You can pair the blazer and pants together or separately. Like the previous outfit, I did play on texture again by adding a black feather bag and black pointed-toe heels to complete this look.
