What’s On My Fall Wish List

Do you feel it? The crisp air in the mornings? The subtle hints of orange, red, and yellow? The darker mornings? Fall is officially underway. Now all I can think about is my wardrobe: the items tucked away and patiently waiting to be worn again, along with pieces that would make great additions to any fall wardrobe.

Just because summer is over does not mean color is to be ruled out entirely. While neutral tones are the basis of fall and winter styling, we are seeing a shift to playful colors like purple and teal, along with textures and patterns besides suede and leather. My fall wish list is a bit all over the place and mainly focuses on outerwear and accessories, but I think these individual pieces will add an interesting element.

  • Purple is the most unexpected fall color, but I love it. Pairing this purple sweater with brown pants or even just tied around the waist instantly makes the outfit cooler. Here’s another option under $50.
  • When I saw this cape, my jaw dropped. It is 100% genuine suede, and it is under $200. I might be in my western girl era for fall. I have been exploring this style more each year with the boots, the hat, the fringe… simply obsessed.
  • Some people will hate this one, but I am loving clogs. I envision wearing them with flared denim and a button-down or even a blazer for a bit of juxtaposition.
  • When I saw this fringed cardigan, I knew it would be the “it” sweater of the season. It comes in a few other colorways.
  • This bag has been in my cart for a few weeks. I am trying to give my beloved black bag a rest, and this might be a fun alternative that is chic and playful.
  • This coat will live in your closet forever and is 100% a fall staple. The rich chocolate suede trench is perfection. Pair it with denim, a simple crew sweater, and loafers, chef’s kiss. I found it on sale here – nearly $200 off.
  • A simple cashmere wrap is a must.
  • I love an Adidas Spezial sneaker. This green color is perfect for fall, and they are currently 60% off.
  • If you love the Chanel croc shopping bag, then you will love this one for a fraction of the cost.
  • I have been eyeing these loafers for a few years and finally pulled the trigger! They are a The Row lookalike without the price.

I am always on the hunt for pieces that are good quality and will still feel and look luxe. Some of these fall picks were inspired by designer pieces like The Row and Chanel to give you that effortless and elevated look.
