Each season is a chance for a new re-fresh! With that, I take it as a sign to welcome in all that is new to my closet, of course. Each year, style preferences change, the fit of an item you loved might not be right anymore, or you feel new vibrant energy when you find that one special piece that you know you will reach for over and over. Here are some new things that I cannot wait to style this fall.
The perfect kitten heel does exist! I am not typically one for splurges, but I did treat myself to these gorgeous kitten heels in this olive green color. Sometimes, when your heart knows what it wants, why waste time? I know I have preached in the past about being patient when shopping to save extra money, but in this case… let a girl live.
The heel height is perfect and comfortable, the shape is classic, and the color I adore. One area in my wardrobe I am trying to diversify is my heel selection. I am looking for classic styles that can be worn in multiple different settings, such as the office to dinner with my husband, and I think these tick that box.
One thing you should know about me is that I LOVE a good athleisure look. This look is pretty much what you will find me living in as soon as the temperatures dip below 60 degrees.
I found this cute cropped sweater from Beyond Yoga. It is comfortable, yet it makes me feel put-together, as if I’ve put more thought into my look.
A pop of color is just what my wardrobe needed. My husband picked these sneakers out for me, and I think he was onto something with the red. This color instantly adds something interesting to the most basic look without even trying. I have not worn a pair of jeans that fit so well in a long time. These jeans are the 90s relaxed fit from Abercrombie, so they are fitted in the hips but straight through the leg. I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by Abercrombie’s fit and quality, especially for the price. It has been a while since I shopped their denim. These jeans will pair nicely with a cable knit sweater and loafers or even an oversized blazer with pointed boots. I also bought the same jeans in black.
The most perfect bucket bag! I had my eye on this bag for a while before I pulled the trigger, and I must admit I was a lucky one who snagged it while it was on a good sale. The color is beautiful, and it is 100% leather, which is important to me. This bag is guaranteed to fit everything you need and more. It makes for the perfect work tote or everyday bag.
I think this is the cutest sweater I’ve found for under $30. I have been wearing it nonstop since I purchased it because the weather has been ideal for wearing it. I love how it paired with a navy pair of pants for a monochrome look. I am already thinking of how I can pair it in the spring with a maxi skirt or even denim! Such a great transition piece for fall and spring.
It will definitely be a Polo Ralph Lauren autumn for me. There is nothing I love more than a good cable knit sweater or an Oxford button-down. These pieces are very classic, and I hope to have them for a long time to come. I already own the button-down in white and blue! I thought the yellow is such a perfect color that can be worn during multiple seasons.
And the Polo Ralph Lauren continues… my love for caps is real. I love how they add a sporty element to a look or even a pop of color, as these do! Let’s face it, a cap also goes a long way on hair wash days, allowing you to look stylish no matter what.
