I have always loved slip dresses for summer. They are wearable to many functions, simple yet elegant when dressed up, and subtly sexy.
I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this one from Target for $25! I love the midi length and that it has a side slit that is not too revealing. I ended up going back and purchasing the navy one which is so beautiful and looks expensive.
When I styled this dress, I kept it simple with silver hoops and wore a yellow mule for a pop of color. This dress would look really great with some sneakers and a cap for running errands or for lunch out on a weekend. It can be dressed up with some heels for a night out with the girls or a date. I also recommend adding a belt to accentuate your waist and give the dress some texture.
I typically wear a size small but I did go down to an extra small. I do recommend that if you are curvier stay true to size as it will become more fitted around the hip area.
