I am all about repurposing what is already in the closet, especially when the weather is starting to cool and you may not want to let go of wearing color and fun prints. The easiest way to transition into the fall weather is to bring out some of your favorite floral dresses and wear them with a blazer, loafers or boots, and a biker jacket.
When choosing what type of floral to wear for fall, I recommend sticking to deeper color tones that are more seasonally appropriate. For example, the dress I am wearing has a lot of blues and purples, but it also has deeper red tones that work well for a fall outfit. I chose to highlight the red color by wearing a matching jacket further bringing out the rich color in the dress.
This type of look is great to wear to the office or for an evening out. I always talk about having a versatile closet and a part of that is knowing that some clothing can be easily styled for multiple seasons to maximize the piece.
