Happy Saturday! Hope that your week was great and that your weekend is even better. So excited to be back with another weekend post. If you missed the first one, you can read it here. This week I had a chance to try a new restaurant with a friend and now I am not sure why I waited so long.
It is inevitable that with fall comes all the pumpkin flavored drinks and foods. Since Thanksgiving coming up, it is the perfect time to try some new recipes that your family may enjoy! Today is a guest post by Alexis and Ariana from twinstahealth. They have been featured on the blog before where they shared their favorite ways to make avocado toast. I am excited to have them back sharing some of their favorite fall recipes.
It has been a while since I last wrote one of these weekend post. Personally, I love reading these types of post because I always end up discovering something new, or there might be a blog post that I read during the week that I loved. So I wanted to start back up with this series! Grab yourself some coffee or tea… and enjoy!
Fall in New England is one of my favorite times of the year. I love being able to stock up on sweaters and pull out all my heavier knits. I enjoy the cooler and refreshing mornings. But, I think the best part is the beautiful foliage- nothing beats the beauty of fall.
I think I need to wear more polka dots. It is one of those prints that I automatically associate with wearing only in the summer. Its playful and its contrasting light and dark colors don’t exactly scream fall. That was my thought until I wore this polka dot bodysuit. I must admit, I typically shy away from polka dots (I’m not sure why) as this is the ONLY polka dot item that I own.
I may or may not be obsessed with every piece of clothing and accessory for fall. Sweaters are my favorite piece of clothing at this time of the year, and the fact is, I feel like I cannot own enough. I have begun to stock up on new sweaters and boots for this fall season and thought I would share what I purchased, along with what I have my eyes on.
I first want to start off by saying this is the best $25 I’ve spent on a skincare product. As much as I enjoy face masks, I always end up forgetting to be consistent with them. I am particularly impressed by this mask for its hydrating capabilities. Needless to say, this will be my holy grail product as we enter the cold season.
Sometimes it is easy to forget that Instagram and the blog are two separate platforms. I wanted to do a little summer recap of some of my favorite moments, outfits, and places that I have gone too. To see more daily looks and lifestyle post- check out my Insta.
I wanted to do a post that is different from my usual book recommendations, styling post, etc. Honestly, I don’t watch as much tv as I used too, and even then I didn’t watch much. Now that it has been some time I figured I can list some shows/movies that I’ve seen and you can list your recommendations too!
How is it September already? I truly feel like the summer had two modes, it started and now it ended. Labor day marks the end of the summer and reveals a new excitement for the fall. I have already started to stock up on sweaters, which to some of you may be premature, but to me is the best feeling.
