November Favorites

November is the month of gratitude, coziness, and that perfect ‘in-between’ feeling before the big holiday rush. It was a month where I really leaned into comfort and found a few little things that truly enhanced my everyday life. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference, right? From a ridiculously warm sweater to the music that I listened to while I worked on the blog, these are the items and moments I enjoyed. Let’s talk about my November Favorites!

  1. The Olaplex No7 Bonding Oil has been on my radar for a long time, and I am happy that I finally added it to my hair routine. I use it at the end of flat-ironing my hair to give it a sleek and soft feel.
  2. What if I told you I found a nail polish that dries in 5 minutes, is easy to remove, and durable as gel? This polish has been my go-to for the month because I love how fast it dries. It will last a week before it begins to chip, but I think it is totally worth it, saving lots of unnecessary dry time.
  3. I visited a bookstore in Niantic, Connecticut called Book Barn. They have over 300,000 books of all genres and ages. Really is such a fun spot and such a treasure hunt for your next read.
  4. Speaking of books, I started reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and I absolutely love it. The perfect mystery that is entertaining. I read the second book first… so I know what comes next, but you start to realize what a badass character Lisbeth is. Highly recommend, it is a trilogy and will definitely keep you occupied this winter.
  5. Fall pretty much passed through, and winter began. It is so cold that I have been living in my fleece sweater.
  6. Another much-loved item is these Gap sweatpants. As a tall girl, I am very impressed with the length. I finally have sweatpants that drag on the floor; that is a win for me.
  7. The Christmas playlist is underway, but last month I really enjoyed listening to the Frank Sinatra Radio on Spotify.
  8. Lastly, not to toot my own horn, but I started a new series on the blog that I post every Monday. I have been enjoying this little diary series for sharing a bit more of my thoughts, things I enjoy, and other topics I hope we can engage with together.
