I have added many new drugstore products to my rotation in the past few months! More specifically I have added so many new lip products that I have been wearing nonstop since purchasing. I have stopped at the beauty section in Target nearly every time I have gone, and of course, I have found new products I enjoy. It has been a while since I last shared the drugstore makeup I love!
E.L.F. Glow Revivier Lip Oil has been my go-to lip product of choice these days. It is glossy and hydrating – not oily as you might think. The color ranges are beautiful and I officially own three. They are the perfect way to enhance your lips, you can choose to wear them alone or over lipstick. My favorite way to wear it is with lipliners. Not to mention they are $8!! I feel like I have been sharing these nonstop on IG, but that is because I genuinely love this product.
I hadn’t owned any lip pencils before but wow they are such a game-changer for lips. I purchased the NYX Long-Lasting Slim Lip Pencil in shades Ever and Nude Truffle. They are such a great price point at $5 each.
The last lip product I’ve been enjoying is the NYX Fat Oil Slick Click Tinted Lip Balm in the shade Link in My Bio. I like the formula and the color payoff, but the only thing I do not like about it is the clicking to get the product out. This is a similar concept to the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm.
I used to be loyal to the Benefit Hoola Bronzer but I picked up the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer and have been using that since. Many people compare these two products as if the Physicians Formula bronzer is a dupe, but I do not believe so. Their color payoff is quite different and the Hoola Bronzer has no shimmer reflected in it as the Physicians Formula does. The Hoola Bronzer is unscented and slightly darker which shows up better on my skin. What I like about the Physicians Formula is that it gives a more subtle bronze and a more sun kiss glow. I am sure I will eventually buy the Hoola Bronzer again, but for now, I am happy with this.
I have been into coral shades for the summer so I decided to try a new blush to give a summer peachy color to the cheeks. I found this one from Revolution in the shade Peach Bliss that is pretty. The color payoff is subtle so it is buildable.
I have tried different designer mascara, but I keep going back to the L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in blackest black. It has been my true favorite for years. This season, I decided to switch it up a bit so I bought the same favorite but in the shade burgundy. I love the way it instantly adds something different to your makeup look. I have been pairing it with brown eyeliner which makes my eyes pop a bit more.
I very rarely purchase skincare products besides the usual micellar water, lip balms, etc. but I needed a new Vitamin C serum and honestly wanted to see if any from Target would be just as good as higher-end brands. I tried the Olay and ROC they are both brightening and hydrating and have similar price points. Truthfully my favorite Vitamin C serum is one I purchased in Europe (which I cannot wait to stock up on this summer), but for now wanted to find a more cost-effective product that works. I truly believe in the power of Vitamin C for your skin and I try not to miss a day without it. You can read about the three skincare products I use daily here.
I would love to know, what are some of your drugstore favorites?
