January was a very busy month and starting fresh for the new year always feels exciting. In this post, I am sharing with you some things I discovered, liked, and read during January.
- Every Christmas I ask for the same gift, a new daily planner. This year I received a beautiful planner by The Dailee which is so well made. I prefer to handwrite my schedule versus having it digitally and genuinely love to receive a new one as a gift. It’s the simple things!
- I bought a hair crimping tool because I loved the look of effortless waves in the hair giving it texture and volume. I was impressed by how long the waves lasted for me. This has now quickly become my curling style of choice.
- I have two words for winter, HEAT TECH. I live in my heat tech shirts during the colder months. They are thin and comfortable to wear under sweaters keeping my body heat in.
- Every year I read at least two to three finance-related books. I started the year reading Get Good with Money by Tiffany Aliche. She provides ten steps to get your finances in order and protect your future self. Even though I have read enough finance books to have a good understanding of personal finances and have implemented a lot that I have learned, I still enjoy reading these types of books and gaining new knowledge or reminders.
- One shoe I did not expect to like is these shearling-lined Birkenstocks, but wow are they comfortable and easy to wear for running out of the house.
- These fun fashion sunglasses from Amazon were $13! A simple accessory that adds character to outfits. I ordered the lenses in light brown, but they come in darker lenses as well.
