I am a total sucker for boots. In fact, I own more boots than I do any other shoe in my wardrobe. It is always justified because accessories do the talking when it comes to winter fashion, am I right? In this post, I am sharing my five boots you need in your wardrobe that are comfortable but stylish during the winter.
Shearling Lined Boots
I will start with the most contradictory pair as UGGs are not known for being very stylish. However, these tend to be the boots I wear the most and I believe there are ways to incorporate them into your outfits to be cool and comfortable. Just imagine a wide-leg denim with a chunky knit or even a cute winter coat and a chunky scarf. This makes for the best weekend style!
There are other chic shearling boot options that make winter outfits more interesting with texture. These boots are pricey, but La Canadienne boots are worth the price as they are lined with real sheep shearling. They are both stylish and functional. A more cost-effective option is this pair from Amazon, however, they are not lined inside.

Over The Knee Boots
My favorite pair of over-the-knee boots is the Stuart Weitzman Lowland. They are the perfect flat over-the-knee boots that stay up and do not fall throughout the day. These boots may not be as popular as they were five years ago, but they are one boot I will not stop wearing no matter the current trend. I find them to be comfortable and easy to style. I have worn them with leggings as seen above, but they also work great with all lengths of dresses and skirts.
A heeled over-the-knee boot adds sophistication to winter outfits. Perfect to wear with a midi skirt and a blazer, office chic!

Chelsea Boot
Chelsea boots are my favorite to wear. I tend to wear mine as pictured above, with a pair of denim and a simple sweater for winter. I did a collaboration post with Beckett Simonon for these chocolate brown Chelsea boots and they have quickly become a closet staple for fall and winter. I love it when boots elevate a casual look, which is exactly what this type of boot does.
One of my all-time favorite brands for Chelsea boots is Penelope Chilvers. Beautiful boots that are stunning quality and well worth the price. They are unique, as you will not find similar styles anywhere, and they are easy to style. I was first introduced to this brand through my Aunt, who used to own a boutique in Brooklyn featuring many brands that were not as well known then as they are now locally.

Kitten Heeled Boot
A kitten heel boot is a must-have in your wardrobe. These boots are perfect for all occasions including the office, date nights, casual days out, and more. Kitten-heel boots are the easiest way to elevate your outfit and are often more comfortable than a high heel. I recommend starting with a classic pointy black kitten heel first and then adding a few more interesting colors such as this beautiful Bordeaux color.

Lug Sole Boot
Lug sole boots might not be one of your favorites, and that’s okay. I get it; they are chunky and often heavy to wear, but I love that they give outfits a bit of an edge. I wear these Doc Martens often during the winter with denim or even as styled above; I wore leggings that day because I was running errands. If you are not into this type of look, these Sam Edelman ones can be a good alternative.
