An easy and tasty green juice recipe that you will want to make on repeat. I do not juice as a replacement for a meal, but as an additional way for me to incorporate the great benefits that come along with the intake of fruits and vegetables. Additionally, it is so refreshing to drink during the summer. I recently made a batch and my MIL and Fiance can both attest that it is delicious!
For the fruit and vegetables be sure to wash them thoroughly before juicing. Cut into smaller pieces to feed the juicer easily.
1 Fennel
2 Green Apples
4 sticks of Celery (optional) I do not always put celery in mine
2 Cucumbers
1 Lemon
The best part about making fresh juice is that is is completely up to your taste and preferences. You can add additional fruits and vegetables that you prefer. This is what I have been enjoying as fennel has some really great health benefits such as heart health, reduces inflammation, improves digestion, and more (source). I recommend drinking this in the morning on a empty stomach.
