It is easy to say Goodbye to the previous year, and I have done that year after year, but I want to revise this and say Thank You 2024, not Goodbye. The thing about goodbyes is that they seem final, as if a door has been shut and is not to be opened. This past year was one of many emotions, high and low moments, growth, and love. I have learned a lot this past year and felt the growth as the year progressed. There is always much to be grateful for, so I share some of these moments with you.
Moments of 2024 (the good and the sad)
- I went wedding dress shopping with my mom and said, “Yes to the dress.”
- I attended new events and had the opportunity to meet new and wonderful people. I was happy to share these moments with my Mom, my number one supporter. I loved seeing how much fun she had as well.
- I collaborated with multiple brands which was a highlight for me (see here Beckett Simonon, Quince, The Custom Goods Co, and Just Fab)
- I started a new job.
- I traveled more this year, visiting family, on vacations, and holidays. I also solo traveled for work which was a great experience. This taught me that it is not as hard as it seems and that I should not keep letting my anxiety hold me back from new experiences.
- I had the best bachelorette weekend and my Mom hosted the most beautiful bridal shower.
- I got married in September!!! 2024 will always be a very special year!
- Honeymoon in Croatia and Bosnia.
- I read 17 books – see all that I read here.
- My family welcomed a new puppy in October.
- In July one of my family’s dogs passed away suddenly – this was a huge shock.
- In October my Grandfather passed away – this was another huge shock as we were not expecting his health to decline so rapidly as he was seemingly so “healthy.” I am grateful that my family and I were able to visit him for a few days before he passed a week later.
Thank you for being here! It is nearly nine years since I started this blog, and it amazes me how much life has changed since I uploaded my first post in January 2015. I appreciate your continued support. I wish you much success and happiness in the new year!
I look forward to continue connecting with you in 2025! Cheers 🙂
