My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

Ahh it’s that time of the year again! The Nordstom Anniversary Sale which is the most anticipated sale for the summer. I remember when I was growing up this was always the time of the year my mom would purchase a ton of new clothes and shoes for back to school and I would leave Nordstom feeling like a superstar.

It’s not to say that I do not feel the same way, but if I were to be 100% honest, I did not find this sale to be as amazing as in years past. I scrolled through everything and narrowed down my picks to a curated list (some items not featured above).

I did not mean to pick all things blush and black however I am not mad about that color combo! This sale  for me is all about finding the right versatile pieces that will easily transition you into fall. I love how the pieces I picked can be worn together or seperately.

Here are my favorite items:

Long Sleeve Floral Midi Dress:  There is nothing like bringing a bit of florals into the fall season. I think this dress is absoulutely stunning. The little details such as the buttons down the front and the slightly billowed sleeve gives it such a feminine flare.

How to wear: This dress can be paired with the boots and the tote (pictured above) for a completed look or pair it with a pair of strappy heels and a clutch for a night out.

Another great option here!

Longchamp Leather Tote: This blush pink tote is the perfect way to add some color to any fall look. This bag would be perfect to use for work or even for trips. The leather gives it a sleek look with maintaining the classic Lonchamp style.

How to wear: Pair this bag with some frayed hem jeans, pink wrap top, and some lifestyle sneakers.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Kit: Definitely one of the most classic nudes there is!

How to wear: Add this lipstick to any makeup routine for a classic nude pout. This lipstick will pair well with minimal to high glam.

Dolce Vita Coltyn Boots: These boots are drop dead gorgeous and extremely sleek. If there is one thing to buy out of everything, I think it would have to be these boots. The crocodiled leather will immediately add an expensive factor to any look.

How to wear: These boots are super versatile and are a great height to pair with jeans, dresses, and skirts for transitioning into fall.

Cowl Neck Sweater: When thinking of fall, all I think about is being able to pull out all the sweaters. It is a classic cowl neck that looks to be a little bit oversized providing extreme comfort. If you are not a big fan of turtlnecks this may be a great alternative.

How to wear: This cream colored cowl neck can be dressed up with a satin skirt or dress pants for a more professional look. Wear with denim for a casual day out.

Satin Midi Skirt: The satin skirt is sexy and minimal. It is a piece that can be dressed up or down. The midi length allows this skirt to be an easy day to night look. It is the best item to wear when you want to look put togther without the effort.

How to wear: Style this skirt with a cowl neck and boots, simple tee and sneakers, or even a camisole and strappy sandals.

Another skirt option here!

Madewell Wrap Top: Simple yet sophisticated, wrap tops are a go to. I think they accentuate the neck line beautifully! This Madewell one is a beautiful blush color that will tranistion perfectly into fall.

How to wear: Wear this wrap top with a satin skirt and boots, or pair it with a high waisted trouser and mules.
