Business Casual Summer Look

I always find creating business casual outfits for work to sometimes be a little bit challenging during the summer, but luckily I have finally found an affordable piece that has allowed me to balance professionalism while still maintaining a minimal summer style.

For my day job, the dresscode is more on the business casual side however I am allowed to wear jeans and lifestyle sneakers granted they still look work appropriate.

This summer I have been loving high waisted wide leg chinos! They are comfortable to wear all day, the cropped length keeps the look casual, and the high waist is super flattering. With high waisted pants I would typically wear a top that can be tucked in or even one that is a little bit more cropped.

I found these white chinos from Target for $30 and I am so happy with the way that they fit and their length on my tall frame. They are the perfect addition to my closet since I tend to always gravitate towards jeans or black chinos. I paired them with a top I bought from Nordstrom a few years back, gold mules, and a basket bag.

You can style these chinos in endless possibilities! That is why they have easily become my favorite foolproof piece for summer. No matter how they are styled, they still remain looking professional. I have worn them with a cold shoulder top and flats for dinner or with a cropped linen top and denim jacket for work. I am all about keeping my style minimal and these chinos have proven to be muiltfacted.
