Sometimes it is easy to forget that Instagram and the blog are two separate platforms. I wanted to do a little summer recap of some of my favorite moments, outfits, and places that I have gone too. To see more daily looks and lifestyle post- check out my Insta.

This summer really flew by. I am really happy that I was able to go on a really fun trip to Maine with my best friend and her family, a quick weekend trip to North Carolina, and a few NYC day trips. I also had the privilege to catch up with old friends and a few girls nights! I did have my fair share of wine this summer! Rose and Riesling’s are my favorites. I recently saw this quote on Pinterest that said wine + dinner= winner and it couldn’t be more on target! I really do appreciate a good wine with dinner during the summer. I went to a Winery here in CT for the first time which was really fun, and kind of relaxing. I can’t wait to go back next summer 🙌.
My Instagram bio says it all!! I am a Thai food lover. To me everyplace makes the same dish a little bit different, which is why I like to eat the same dish. I should probably learn how to make my favorite dishes, but for now I’ll leave it to the professionals. I love going to small thai restaurants because I find that the dishes are more authentic and you get a more intimate experience during your meal.
NYC is my favorite place! I love the energy, the architecture, and just the feeling the NYC gives me. If I could, I would move there in a heartbeat. I had the pleasure of my best friend visiting me this summer so we took a day trip and the day turned out to be gorgeous. Recently I also attended NYFW for my second time which was super exciting! The event was in Times Square, which if you are a New Yorker, it is probably one of the most annoying places to walk through. To be honest, I haven’t walked through Times Square in a hot minute so the liveliness was nice to be a part of for the moment.
This summer I also read a good amount of books and went to the movies twice. Which that is a lot for me considering I don’t like going to the theater that much. I saw Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again and Crazy Rich Asians – both I loved. All in all, I would say summer 2018 was good! I am now looking forward to the change in season, my favorite time of the year!
