Absence truly makes the heart grow fonder. Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t posted on my blog in a month, and in blogging time, that is a really long. It wasn’t that I wanted to stop posting content, it was because I had too. I am in my senior year of college and I felt that I had to back off of blogging for a while until I was able to get settled and adjust to my crazy class schedule. Well needless to say since school started, I haven’t been able to settle, I am constantly busy (not to mention tired, stress, etc.) and I felt that I didn’t have the time to dedicate to my blog. With that said, I am excited to be writing this post! 🙂 I also hope that this post will help me get the ball rolling again.
I haven’t changed much when it comes to my beauty routine, but for the past few months I have been trying out new cleansers. The basics for good skin comes from daily cleansing. It took me a while to realize this as I used to not care weather or not I went to bed with makeup still on my face. I began to realize that I would have problems with acne, and I felt that fines lines were peaking through when they shouldn’t have. Over the past few years and in recent months I have tried an array of facial cleansers that I think have made a difference for my skin.
Biore is the facial cleanser that I would use when I notice that my face is starting to breakout. To me this hands down is the best for exfoliating and cleansing. I have been using this cleanser for three years and honestly it is my go to.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser
This has been my go to face wash after a long day of wearing makeup. It is a gentle cleanser, but I feel that it does a really good job of stripping away oils and makeup. I highly recommend this one if you have oily skin!
I use Clinique on days when I am really active and really oily. It is also a gentle cleanser and is perfect for oily skin types. Sometimes I feel that it could be a little bit drying to the skin so always be sure to follow up with a moisturizer.
This cleanser my best friend bought for my birthday. Honestly, this one is my favorite because not only do I think that it gently cleanses, it also hydrates the skin. Whenever I feel that I need additional moisture to my face, I use this and follow up with the face cream.
