Can we just talk about how amazing these pants are?! These are usually not the most typical kind of jeans that I would go for but the color (and the length) is what really caught my eye.
In my about me page, I mentioned that I am 6′ ft, which in photos is not always the most obvious. So as you can imagine sometimes finding jeans and pants that are an acceptable length can often be tricky. Recently, before heading back to school, I stopped into Gap. Gap is honestly a store that I forgot had really great quality denim and other basics. I saw a huge sign that said SALE and went straight to the back. Low and behold, there was a massive rack that was just filled with jeans and tops that were amazing prices. As I was shuffling through the clothes I was getting really excited because I did not realize that they sold tall in store, most of the time tall is online and rarely on sale. When I saw these pants I booked it straight the the dressing room because I knew that I always wanted a pair of wide legged jeans, but they would never look right on me for the sake of the length.
Along with buying these pants I also bought a pair of navy boot cut corduroy pants which I am saving and can’t wait to wear and share once it starts to get a bit cooler.
For this outfit, I decided that I wanted to let the pants do the talking. The color is so vibrant and fun that the accessories and tee needed to be neutral. I added pop of pattern with my belt because I thought that it was very subtle. What I love about these pants are that they look a bit retro which is such a different kind of style for me.
Sometimes with these types of pants it can get a bit tricky with shoes because you don’t want you legs or feet to get to lost in the fabric, that is why I thought a wedged heel looked best. Have you ever had an amazing/ surprising shopping experience?
