We all have our weekly stresses, but when it is the weekend what do we do to make ourselves feel relaxed and pampered. In today’s blog post I will give you some ideas of what you can do. Sometimes we need to let other tasks to the side and enjoy some moments, whether it is with others or by yourself.
Go get your hair done, nails done, or a facial. Make yourself feel relaxed and pampered. If you don’t have time to go out to do it, then pop in a movie while your nails are drying and wear a face mask. I recently had my first facial and it was a really great and relaxing experience and at first I could not stop smiling because I was so happy to be there.
There are also many beauty products that are perfect for pampering yourself at home. I tried the Fresh Rose Face Mask and I really liked it, the scent made me feel as though I was at a luxurious spa even though I was at home. Sephora also sells a variety of masks for $6 which isn’t to bad of a price point.

I personally love doing my nails myself rather than having them done. It is almost soothing and for sure the best way to save some money with a tight budget. It is also a perfect way to take a break from a tedious task or studying.

Go For a Hike Or Evening Stroll on the Beach
If you are like me and doesn’t work out/ exercise much during the week, taking a hike is the perfect solution. It is nice to take part of the day to stay clear from social media, emails, etc. and observe nature, especially when you have a super cute furry companion to join you. Hiking is fun to do with friends or significant other. Trust me when I say that you will still feel the burn and it is worth it. Eat Healthy and Plan Meals
I know that this might not seem like a way to unwind from a week of stress, but when you eat well you feel more energized and prepared for the week ahead. I know that it is so much easier to sit in front of the tv and eat a bag of Doritos, but on the flip side you can sit in front of the tv and eat a salad or fruit salad. Instead of coffee have a green smoothie or treat yourself to a different order at Starbucks, like the Strawberry acai with coconut milk which if you follow me on Instagram I was saying how obsessed I am with it!!
Another way to make lunch and dinner easier for during the week is to plan them. Make bigger portions of your favorite meal so that you can store them for you lunch the next day or dinner. Sometimes the last thing we want to think about after a busy day is what to eat… and let me tell you that when I am hangry it is not pretty.
Have a Date Night or GNO
This one is pretty explanatory, put something sexy on and go on a date with you significant other. There is no better way to spend time than with the person you love. If no significant other, that’s okay…I’m with ya, having a girls night out or in will let you spend quality time with you girlfriends and be silly.

Read a Book
I am obsessed with reading books and always have more than I can handle reading at a time. I recently finished reading this book! It was so good and well thought out. It has tips that can be applied to now and the future about working, plus there are some tips and hacks that seem very useful. I highly recommend that you put it on your list. It is the perfect quick read for the beach, train, or plane.
