February has flown by! I am proud of the content I have been sharing with you all lately on Instagram. I have been having fun creating outfit reels and sharing more of my work outfits and weekend looks in motion. I have also been having fun creating new outfits with my clothes. Due to planning a wedding this year, I have been considerate of my expenses and minimized my consumption of goods.
I have noticed that my style has evolved into more classic styles and silhouettes that work for me. This means I have been honing into the pieces that make up a capsule wardrobe. The basics are easily mixed and matched – always looking good with minimal thought and effort. I have been wearing these Old Navy jeans nonstop since I bought them a few months ago. I decided to pair it with a classic cream sweater and grey wool coat. I tied in the popular burgundy color with my belt and loafers. Most of my pieces are old, which shows how well classic pieces last and never go out of style.

This Alo set is everything! I am not typically one to wear cropped tops and show mid-section but I thought this set was just so cool. I paired it with these New Balance sneakers to give it a more lifestyle athleisure look instead of a super sporty look with running sneakers. You can easily mix these pieces with other tops and sweaters. The pants are extremely comfortable and a go too.

I did a collaboration reel for Our Quarterly Community page for #feelgoodfriday. I enjoy starting my mornings slowly and reading for at least 30- 60 min with a cup of coffee. For me, that is what my ideal morning looks like! During the week is generally chaotic for me to do this so I cherish this time to myself on the weekends.
I just finished reading True Believer by Nicolas Sparks and I am now reading 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do by Amy Morin.

I love an all-black look for a date night. I shared this look around Valentine’s Day as inspiration for you. I wore these Abercrombie vegan leather pants that I love (I am so happy I have them in my closet) a simple black top, and a studded heel.
I also have been into this lip combo recently. I line my lips with this mauve liner and top it with this lip oil (shade Rose Envy).

Me and my Valentine <3 we took this photo right after we decided on the wedding venue we were both super excited to book.
Golden hour is the best time of the day. The natural light was too good not to take some selfies with. I’ve been into coral lipsticks (shade Kiss Me Coral) recently and rediscovered one I had not worn in a while. I think it will look great once I have a bit more of a tan, but I still liked how my makeup came out.
