I am a huge fan of turtlenecks for the winter! I think that they are the perfect piece for layering and for keeping warm. In this video I showed you three outfits that you can incorporate a black turtleneck.
It is the second year of The Girl From Connecticut! I am really excited to see what this new year brings not only for the blog but for life in general. I always reminisce about the day that I first started my blog, I wasn’t sure what I was doing, I had no idea how much work it would take and certainly did not know how much I would come to love and appreciate having a platform of my own. Yet amongst the stress from college and work when I come home, I have not given up on my dream for my blog. I am now on chapter 2 out of my more and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
Merry Christmas!! I can’t believe that the holiday has come so fast. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and before you know it, it is over. To say the least, it is a great day of fellowship with my family and relax.
I am really excited to share this holiday look! There is one week until Christmas and it still feels so surreal.
This past weekend I went to see the fantasy christmas lights that was located in a town near my school. I attempted to vlog the experience so hopefully I will be able to upload it sometime soon! I am excited to start creating some Youtube videos.
I am so excited this this is my last week of classes before finals week. The anticipation of going home has me feeling so happy.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was a good day of just relaxing, eating good food, and spending time with family. It is crazy that this week begins December and there is a little less than a month until Christmas.
A big part of fashion that is unseen is the ability to take care of clothes and accessories. When I find really great pieces that I love, it is hard for me not to be cautious about the way I handle and care for them. What I found worked for me, is to wash in cold water and air dry clothes rather than putting them into the dryer. By doing this, I found that my pieces were not shrinking and they were lasting longer.
