Band Tee

Thank goodness it is April! It seems as though here in CT winter wanted to stay a little longer, so some days have been extremely cold. However, this coming up week is supposed to hit into the 70’s and I am so stoked! April doesn’t only mean summer is fast approaching but that my Junior year of college will be over, and I am not even mad about that ūüôā This past year had my head spinning in so many different directions that I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be able to walk straight. Now with just about four weeks left of the semester, my steady jog is quickly turning into a sprint. Even with all the stress that can build up from work, school, and the blog, I am so grateful for all the experiences because it shows that I can handle it and get through it! I found this quote and I thought that it is a great reminder that hard work pays off “The harder you work for something, the greater you will feel when you achieve it.”

I have always loved band tees. I think that they are perfect for a cool and relaxed vibe. There are so many ways that I can think of styling a band tee, but for this look, I went more casual. I love the vee cut out detail because it adds a more interesting factor to the top without it being inappropriate for an everyday look. I wore¬†dark washed studded denim, a fedora hat, my favorite heeled boots, and a bright coral lip. I didn’t realize how bright the lipstick was until I saw the photos and I am pretty sure it is not that bright in person.

I got my band tee for under $20 at Forever 21 and I think that store is the perfect place to buy summer band tees for less to still achieve the same type of look.
