Olive Tunic

When I first saw this tunic, I knew that I needed to have it. I tend to go for classic and timeless pieces that can easily be transitioned from season to season. In this post, I will explain what makes this tunic the perfect transitional piece.

It is weird to think that just a few weeks ago I was home enjoying my free time and cuddling with my really cute dogs. Time is surely flying as I enter my third week of classes. With fall coming right around the corner I was thinking about what piece I bought this summer that really seemed like an ideal piece to wear from season to season and won’t seem to be out of trend before a blink of the eye. This olive colored tunic is just that. Being that it is sleeveless, it is acceptable to wear in the summer. For the fall and winter, having the thicker material and the cowl neck is ideal. To make this tunic work for the fall and winter I would add another layer underneath it like a basic long sleeve or sweater. Another option is to layer it under a blazer and for the colder days or do both! Since it resembles a turtleneck no one will know that it is a short sleeve under that blazer. It is almost like wearing a chunky knit scarf over a tee that is hidden under a puffer coat.

For this outfit I kept the accessories neutral and finished it off with a hat. This past summer I have really been loving the minimal makeup look and thought that this more natural look compliment this outfit well.
